The Tampa Bay Storm and Orlando Predators met in the 3,000th AFL game in Tampa Bay on Friday night. Both teams were kicking off their 25th season in the league, and they were both looking for an entertaining rivalry game.

The Storm jumped out to a 7-6 first quarter lead, but then the Predators scored 42 of the next 48 points in the game to break the game wide open. Orlando WR Greg Carr scored four touchdowns on seven receptions. He caught nine touchdowns all of last season.

Adam Kennedy threw just 150 and three touchdowns for the Storm. WR TT Oliver caught three catches for 56 yards and two of the three touchdowns from Kennedy. For the Predators, QB Randy Hippeard threw for 241 yards and six touchdowns.

The Storm would wind up losing this game by a final score of 76-25. The 51-point loss is the worst loss in Storm history. They will travel to Cleveland next Saturday to take on the Gladiators. The Predators head home to take on the Portland Steel.
