The Orlando Predators (4-0) are on a mission to start the season with five victories for the fist time since going 6-0 in 2003.
Leading the way for the Predators is fourth year quarterback Randy Hippeard. Hippeard has completed 82-127 passes this season and ranks third in passing yards with 1,038. He also has thrown for 21 touchdowns, ranking fourth in the league.
Additionally, receiver Brandon Thompkins and running back Larry Brackins both have returned a kickoff for a touchdown.
The Cleveland Gladiators (1-3) will host Orlando at 7 p.m. Friday evening at Quicken Loans Arena.
All eyes will be on quarterback Arvell Nelson as he expected to make his first start for the Gladiators in this week 5 matchup.
Wider receiver Collin Taylor who scored a touchdown in his 20th consecutive game last week will hope to continue that success. Taylors eight touchdowns receptions this year are tied for fourth in the league.
The Orlando Predators are out to prove they are an elite team in the AFL this season and this road trip will be a good gauge to show if they can win in a hostile environment.
For the Cleveland Gladiators, they hope to grind out a win and get back in the hunt for playoff rankings.
