2016 Week 2 Preview: Gladiators vs Storm

The Tampa Bay Storm will travel to Cleveland to take on the Gladiators on Saturday. Both teams are coming off of bad losses, but no loss was worse than the one the Storm suffered in Week 1 against the Orlando Predators. The Storm lost by 51 points, the biggest margin of loss in team history.

While the Gladiators also lost to the Philadelphia Soul, they did make a game out of it after trailing 42-7 in the second quarter. It was just too late for the Glads to make a comeback. The Storm never had a chance.

Do they have a chance in Week 2? If they will look to take down the Gladiators and avenge their Week 1 loss, they will have to repeat what the Soul did last week and what they didn't do last week - step up on defense. The Soul recorded three defensive touchdowns in the first half last week.

If the Storm do this against Cleveland, they will need to obtain a big lead early and be sure to not give it up. For the Gladiators, they simply just can not turn the ball over like they did last week and cause the Storm offense to struggle like the Orlando Predators did in Week 1.
