Storm Activate WR/KR Kendrick Ings, OL Cornelius Dixon

The Tampa Bay Storm have activated wide receiver/kick returner Kendrick Ings and offensive lineman Cornelius Dixon.

Ings joins the Storm for his second season with the team. He caught 68 passes for 997 yards and 15 touchdowns during his rookie season in 2015. As a kick returner, he returned 82 kicks for 1,435 yards and three kick return touchdowns. 

He has seven games where he's recorded over 100 yards in kick returns, with his biggest performance being when he recorded 178 yards in kickoffs against the Philadelphia Soul. He signs with the Storm after spending 2016 training camp with the BC Lions of the Canadian Football League.

Dixon was acquired by the Storm in a trade with the Los Angeles KISS last week. This will be
his first season with Tampa. Dixon began his career with the Kansas City Command in 2011. He is a three-time Arena Bowl champion, winning championships with the Arizona Rattlers (2013, 2014) and San Jose Sabercats in 2015.
