The Tampa Bay Storm hosted the Los Angeles KISS at the Ameile Arena in Tampa on Saturday night. This was the first of two meetings for these two teams this season.

The KISS struck first when quarterback Pete Thomas found his favorite receiver in Donovan Morgan for a touchdown. The Storm would answer back with a rushing touchdown from quarterback Jason Boltus. The extra point was no good and the KISS maintained a 7-6 lead.

After the KISS took a 14-6 lead, Mike Lewis sacked Boltus, forced a fumble then recovered the fumble. The KISS would take the 14-6 lead into the second quarter.

The KISS would expand their lead to 21-6 when Thomas found Morgan for the second time of the night. The KISS would get another stop on fourth down and Thomas would find Brandon Collins for another touchdown. After the extra point was missed, the KISS opened up a 27-6 lead.

They weren't done there. A Boltus pass was intercepted by Josh Victorian and the KISS took over with excellent field position. A touchdown to DJ Stephens made the score 34-6 in favor of the KISS. By halftime, the KISS led 40-6.

There wasn't much offense in the third quarter. Each team scored one touchdown apiece, and the KISS led 47-13 after three. The KISS would win in Tampa by a final score of 54-20.

The Storm will play the Orlando Predators at the AmWay Center in Orlando on Friday night while the KISS will head back home to play the Arizona Rattlers next Sunday.
