2016 Week 12 Preview: Rattlers vs Soul

The Philadelphia Soul will travel to Arizona to take on the Rattlers on Friday night. The game will air at 10 p.m. ET on ESPN2. It will be the first game on the ESPN family of networks since April 17, when the Soul hosted the Portland Steel.

That game was a blowout win for the Soul. This game is looking like a possible Arena Bowl XXIX preview. The Soul and Rattlers are the hottest teams in their perspected conferences.

Both have amazing quarterbacks - Nick Davila for the Rattlers and Dan Raudabaugh for the Soul - and both have a great wide receivers as well, as Davila has the Rattlers' all-time leading receiver in Rod Windsor and Raudabaugh has two great receivers in Darius "Money" Reynolds and Shaun "SK" Kauleinamoku. The Soul also have one of the top running backs in the league in Jeramie Richardson.

These two teams met back in May. The Soul handed the Rattlers their second consecutive loss after a 5-0 start when the Rattlers came to the Wells Fargo Center in Philadelphia.

It was a closely contested game in which the Soul won by a final score of 63-56. This is the final meeting between the two teams I the regular season, but these two teams may meet up again on Aug. 26 in Arena Bowl XXIX.
