After placing lineman Meshak Williams on reassignment, Cleveland brings in a rookie at the same position. Nick Seither from Hamilton, Ohio joins the Gladiators after spending time in camp with the Arizona Cardinals last season. Seither played for Georgetown College in Georgetown, KY, an NAIA school where he was an All American and Mid-South Conference Player of the Year in 2014.

On Wednesday, Cleveland added to their defense again, signing DB Kelvin Rodgers.
Rodgers enters his fifth season in the AFL and first with the Gladiators. He last played for the San Antonio Talons. He was also named Second Team All-Arena in 2014 and has 18 interceptions for his career. He played college football at Minnesota State University.

Following this move, Cleveland also placed DB Joe Powell on injured reserve.
