The Steel are still the worst team in the league. They have been blown out in almost every game they have played this season and don't look like they will compete much if at all in August, when the playoffs begin.
The Storm started off playing terrible football, but then they got back on track and even won their first game over the Arizona Rattlers. They have been blown out in their last two games, however, and are looking like the same team that started the season.
While they do have the best receiver in the league in Joe Hills and they have won a few big games on the road, the Sharks have also played mediocre football over the course of the season.
The KISS got off to a hot start this season, hotter than we had seen over the first two seasons of the franchise. But then they hit a bump in the road. In the past few games, however, they seem to have gotten back on track.
The Gladiators started off slow, got really hot, but have since fallen off the rocker. They have lost their last two games, but they did keep it close with the Orlando Predators. They currently sit in fifth place in the overall rankings, but fourth in our power rankings.
The Soul have lost two of their last three games and went from the best record in the league by one game to tied for the second best record in the league, losing the tiebreaker for second with the #2 team on our list this week.
The Rattlers have gotten back on track and have moved up on our list. Nick Davila is proving to be an MVP-caliber quarterback, dominating the league lead in touchdown passes.
The Predators are the first team to get to 10 wins this season, but that's not why they're the newest top team on our list. They're the top team because of their hot 7-0 start and the way they've been playing over the past few weeks after dropping two games.
