Free safety Jeremy Kellem is returning to the Arizona Rattlers, the team and league announced Wednesday.
Kellem, who missed the first 10 games while trying to explore the NFL, was the Arena Football League Defensive Back of the Year last season when he had 14 interceptions.
"He called," Rattlers General Manager and coach Kevin Guy told Richard Obert of the Arizona Central. "He realizes we're going through some injuries. He wants to help us. He's always been a team guy. He still needs to work some things at home to make this a permanent deal."
The Rattlers return to action Saturday at home against the Portland Steel.
