Storm Acquire WR Prechae Rodriguez, Trade WR Julius Gregory to Arizona Rattlers

The Tampa Bay Storm have announced that they have acquired wide receiver Prechae Rodriguez. This will be his season in the league and the second with the Storm.

He joined the team in 2012 as a rookie. He caught 125 passes for 1,653 yards and 32 touchdowns that year, earning himself consideration for both rookie of the year and MVP awards.

Rodriguez joined the Orlando Predators in 2013. He finished second on the team with 119 receptions for 1,614 yards and 41 touchdowns. The 41 touchdowns was a Predators single-season record. He would go on to spend the 2014 season with the Pittsburgh Power and the 2015 season with the Jacksonville Sharks.

He began his professional football career with the Canadian Football League's Hamilton Tiger-Cats in 2008. He caught 158 passes for 2098 yards and 12 touchdowns in the CFL.

The Storm also traded WR Julius Gregory to the Arizona Rattlers. He had caught 20 passes for 261 yards and four touchdowns thus far this season.
