Orlando Predators Sign WR Jeremy Gallon

The Orlando Predators announced they have agreed to terms with Jeremy Gallon, a former NFL wide receiver and Central Florida native. As a prep standout at Apopka High School, Gallon was selected to the U.S. Army All-American game before attending the University of Michigan.

Gallon played in 51 games as a Wolverine and set a school record with 39 consecutive games with a pass reception. A two-time All Big Ten selection still holds the record for single game receiving yards, with 369 yards, two touchdowns and 14 receptions in a win over Indiana in 2013. In total he recorded 2,704 receiving yards, 173 receptions and 17 touchdowns in his collegiate career.

In the 2014 NFL Draft he was drafted by the New England Patriots, but released prior to the start of the season. In 2015 he was signed by the Toronto Argonauts of the CFL.


The Orlando Predators will travel to to play in-state rival Jacksonville on Saturday at 7 p.m. ET on the CBS Sports Network.
