Tampa Bay Storm DL Padric Scott has gone north of the border, signing with the Winnipeg Blue Bombers of the Canadian Football League, the team announced on Thursday.

"Padric is a smart player who can be a difference maker on the defensive end," Jeff Gooch, vice president of football operations for the Storm said, "We are happy to see him earn this opportunity in the CFL."

Before joining the AFL, Scott signed with the Arizona Cardinals as an undrafted rookie free agent in 2013. He joined the Philadelphia Soul in 2014, recording 22 tackles, five sacks, a forced fumble, a pass breakup and a blocked kick. He played just two games for the Storm in 2016.
