The Philadelphia Soul hosted the winless Tampa Bay Storm at the Wells Fargo Center in Philadelphia on Monday night. The Soul were looking to continue their hot streak while the Storm were still looking for their first win of the season.

The Storm got on the board first with a nine yard field goal from Craig Peterson, then followed that with an interception from DB James Harrell. On the next play, rookie quarterback Johnathon Bane found Phillip Barnett for a touchdown and just like that, the Storm had a 10-0 lead on the road.

Soul running back Jeramie Richardson scored his first rushing touchdown of the night to make the score 10-6 after the extra point was missed.

The Soul would stop the Storm on a fourth and goal and regain possession in the beginning of the second quarter. They would capitalize on the defensive stand when Raudabaugh found wide receiver Ryan McDaniel for a touchdown. The Soul led 12-10 after another missed point after.

The Soul would roll, however. A Bane pass was picked off by Dwayne Hollis and returned for a Soul touchdown to give them a 19-10 lead. After recovering the ensuing onside kick, Raudabaugh found lineman Jake Metz for a touchdown. The Soul led the Storm 26-10 at the halftime.

Each team failed to convert fourth downs to begin the third quarter. Both teams would also score a touchdown and at the end of the third quarter, the Soul led the Storm 33-17.

After trailing 10-0, the Soul would outscore the Storm 47-7 to win by a final score of 47-17. The Soul are now tied with the Arizona Rattlers at 5-1. These two teams meet Saturday night at the Wells Fargo Center. The Storm, still winless, will take on the Orlando Predators, still undefeated, at the AmWay Center in Orlando on Friday night.
