The Philadelphia Soul hosted the Orlando Predators in a battle of the top two teams in the AFL at the Wells Fargo Center in Philadelphia.

Jeramie Richardson got the Soul on the board first with a rushing touchdown. The Predators would respond when Hippeard found Greg Carr for a touchdown. The first quarter would end in a 7-7 tie.

With the Soul leading 20-14, they attempted an onside kick, but the Predators recovered it at the Soul 10 yard line. The Preds would respond with a Brandon Thompkins touchdown to give the Preds a 21-20 lead.

The Soul retook the lead when Raudabaugh found Ryan McDaniels for a touchdown. They lead 34-27 at the half.

The Soul defense started the second half with an interception by Dwayne Hollis. The offense would capitalize when Richardson ran it in to the end zone for his third touchdown of the nigh to give the Soul a 41-27 lead.

The Predators turned it over on downs on their next drive and Darius Reynolds would score his third touchdown of the night to give the Soul a 48-27 lead.

The Predators would fumble the ensuing kickoff and LaRico Stevenson returned it for a Soul touchdown. They would take that 55-27 lead into the fourth quarter.

The Predators made a comeback and with 2:31 left, the Soul's lead was 55-47. With less than a minute left, another McDaniels touchdown would wrap up the Soul's 62-54 win over the Predators.

The Soul will travel to Cleveland to take on the Gladiators for the third time this season next Saturday. The Predators will look to get back on track when they take on the Jacksonville Sharks at the AmWay Center Friday night.
