With the win, Orlando is now the only unbeaten team in the AFL at 6-0. Arizona falls to 5-1 and will drop to second in the overall rankings.
Arizona allowed 42 points in the first half for the first time since 2010.
Orlando quarterback Randy Hippeard had another standout performance, completing 22-30 passes for 340 yards and nine touchdowns passes.
After being named Under Armour Offensive Player of the Week receiver Brandon Thompkins followed up with three touchdowns and 97 total yards. Receiver Greg Carr had a game high 133 yards and three touchdowns.
Running backs Larry Brackins and Terence Moore each added a rushing touchdown.
Leading the way for the Predators on defense was cornerback Paul Stephens with five tackles and one interception. Linebacker Terence Moore recorded six tackles and Willie McGinis added a sack.
Despite the loss Arizona quarterback Nick Davila completed 23-34 passes for 301 yards and seven touchdowns. Davilla found five different receivers in the end zone.
Receiver Rod Windsor had a team high three touchdowns and 130 total yards in a loosing effort.
This matchup of the top ranked teams in the AFL could serve as a preview for this year's Arena Bowl and as it stands Orlando will take control of the number one ranking in the new playoff format. Arizona will look to get back on track when they travel to play the Philadelphia Soul on Saturday, May 14 at 3:30 p.m.
Orlando (6-0) will hope to continue their winning momentum next week against in-state rival Tampa Bay Storm on Friday, May 13 at 7:30 p.m. at the Amway Center in Orlando.
