The Los Angeles KISS and the Arizona Rattlers will face off in a crucial game on Friday night at Talking Stick Resort Arena in Phoenix. After starting the season undefeated, Arizona (5-2) has lost two straight games, while LA (3-3) is coming off of a bye week.

LA is looking up at Arizona in the National Conference standings, which makes this game very important. These teams have already met once this season, as Arizona demolished LA at the Honda Center by a score of 69-28. Arizona quarterback Nick Davila is coming off becoming the youngest in AFL history to surpass 30,000 career passing yards. The “Latin Laser” has 1,814 yards and 47 touchdowns this season, as he continues a fantastic career.

Mykel Benson has been a great short rusher for the team this year, as he leads the AFL with nine touchdowns this season. Davila has loved throwing to Rob Windsor this year. His main target has 917 yards and 23 touchdowns this year. Leading the way on defense is Allan Chapman, who leads the team with 29.5 tackles.

Also having a great year so far is Arkeith Brown, who has recorded 28.5 tackles this year. The KISS have their best record in franchise history through six games, partly thanks to their quarterback. Nathan Stanley has 1,445 yards and 27 touchdowns this year.

More than half of those touchdowns have gone to Captain Morgan. Morgan has 444 yards and 15 touchdowns this year. Leading the way on defense is Fredrick Obi, who has a team high 33.0 tackles this year. In order to avoid a beat down like last time, the KISS need to limit Rob Windsor, who dominated them last time.  Also, Stanley must cut down on the turnovers, which have been nagging all season long.
