Gladiators to Host Open Player Tryout

The Cleveland Gladiators announced today that they will hold an open tryout for free agent players on Sunday, February 28 at D1 Sports Training in Homewood, AL.

Registration will begin at 8:30 am, with tryouts scheduled from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. The entry fee to participate is $80 on the day of the tryout, and cash will be the only form of payment accepted.

As the tryout will be on a field turf surface, all participants will be required to wear turf shoes or molded-bottom cleats. No metal spiked will be permitted, and participants must also wear comfortable athletic shorts and a t-shirt.

This year's drill will not only feature the traditional combine tests, including the 40-yard dash, short shuttle, broad jump, and the L-drill, but will also include both position- and group-specific drills.
